Did you know ? Which stylus for your screen ?

Several types of stylus exist. But how do you know which one will be the most suitable for your use ?

On a pressure screen (resistive), you can use any type of stylus, see any object.

The “bumper” stylus has a soft round tip that mimics your finger. This alternative will suit people looking for an accessory to not “grease” their screen with the natural sebum of their fingers. It is an inexpensive solution. It remains appropriate for a playful and less precise use.

The passive stylus doesn’t require a battery. On a capacitive screen, you can also use a “bumper” stylus. However, when the screens are equipped with a digitizer, they also work with fine point pens, active, that is connected, uses a battery, in order to inform of their position. Very useful for handwritten input and/or signature. The tablet must be designed to use a fine point pen.
