Did you know ? Your perception of the military standard is often wrong !

How many times have you experienced this moment ? The one where time stops when you drop one of your devices on the floor until you get it back, broken or not (phew!).

The hardening of a machine is defined by its resistance to a state of mechanical stress (falls, vibrations…). The military standard evaluates this resistance to the stresses undergone by the device.

All products are more or less resistant to these disturbances. It was therefore necessary to quantify this resistance and therefore the level of hardening with a standard, the MIL STD 810G (military standard 810G).

It is composed of 516 chapters, where each one allows determining the level of hardening, 1 being the least hardened, 516 the most.

Furthermore, it is therefore not enough to see “standard military” written on a product to know its resistance, but it is important to find out which chapter number it answers. To respect your constraints, our Coworker tablets meet to the 500 chapiters.
