Did you know ? How data exchange works on your devices.

There are two common data recovery systems on the market : the RFID system (Signifiant Radio Frequency Identification) allows the storage and retrieval of data through radio waves. For example, you can read the information contained in a room.

The NFC system (Near Field Communication), is a particular form of RFID. It is a chip-based technology that allows data to be exchanged between a reader and any terminal by simply touching it. (Ex : contactless payment, bus card…).

The RFID system consists of an RFID tag (passive or active), of an RFID reader and an antenna. During a transfer, the RFID tag is interrogated by the reader, which transmits a signal to the tag through the antenna and the tag returns the requested information.

The NFC brings a more secure signal because of its short range, about 10 cm. it works by means of magnetic induction. The connected device transforms this magnetic field into an electrical impulse and thus into data bits.
